Re: flat battery

Interesting. I've used a number of DC chargers here in the UK and in France over the last 12 months and not had any issues. A puzzling inconsistency.............

Re: Battery drain overnight?

I need to leave the car at an airport for 8 days - I'm hoping that it doesn't lose too much charge so I can still get home. I heard recently that checking the SOC via the App can increase (although marginally) drain on the car, as it checks internals for the data. But I'm skeptical about this point...

Re: New car query

I can't answer how long delivery is (I've had mine for 12 months) and as far as getting in and out, you will have to try the car out for yourself! I don't have any regrets. I had a Kona for 3 years before and I do miss the longer range (285 v 240) but I don't actually need it very often so that's a ...

Re: Battery drain overnight?

I've also noticed a small amount of drain overnight, maybe 1, 2 or 3%. I've just put that down to the temperature which has been zero or below here in the South East of England for at least a week. What I have noticed given the temperature is how much effect heating the inside of the car has on the ...

Re: Anyone actually like their car

I've had mine 6 months now and happy with it. This is my second electric car, and it compares favourably with the previous Kona except of course the battery isn't as big.

Re: How to disable the car alarm? - update

My car has been with the local dealer to fix the intermittent alarm fault. The mechanic told me he's made "a couple of modifications and rerouted some of the wiring". This seems to be an admission that there is a fault that can cause the alarm to go off for no apparent reason. Fingers cros...

Charging in France

I'm just back from a 1,000+ mile trip round France. What a hassle free pleasure it was to charge the car. I charged it 9 times in total and only saw 3 individual chargers that weren't working. Most of the locations I visited were on autoroutes or main roads and had at least 6 150kw or higher charger...
