It appears that some Renault dealers have had demonstration Mégane Electric cars but these are left hand drive versions so it is not possible to ascertain what a 9inch screen would look like.

I'm going to hold off, and check it out against the Smart #1... see if the tech is a bit more alluring.

At SMC Renault Aldershot, great team there, established the decision to use the 9 inch screen combination of production simplicity given UK only Right Hand drive market and parts shortage.
