Actual UK specification
There seems to be some confusion over the availability of the following options for the Megane Electric for the first batch of cars:
1. Digital rear view mirror
2. Heat pump
3. Leather seats
4. 12 inch infotainment screen.
Any other information on these would be good to hear about.

Really want the ACC but at that price I’m out In afraid.
I’d rather go up to an ionic 5 or ev6.
Understood. UK prices similar to French for similar spec.Ob1ccfc wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 6:51 pmWow. I put the techno on my priority order, I expected £36.5k or so.Shahev wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 11:51 amUK prices announced

UK EV pricing is just plain silly at the moment and with the govt grant going the market it likely to flatten rapidly. People just can’t pay that kind of money notwithstanding petrol prices they just can’t stump up nearly £40k for a Renault Megane.
Just checked and there is a lease deal direct from Renault;
Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric Equilibre EV60 – PCH Offer - For £459 per month with £3,043 advance rental inc. VAT over 3 years’.
Have to do the calculations and work out fuel savings vs charge costs to see if it works out better.

Is there a link for other options such as PCP and hp?Rob wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:42 amJust checked and there is a lease deal direct from Renault;

They were tested and previewed with 12 inch screens, which looked cool and wraparound.
The Renault website has pictures of 12 inch screens, looking cool and great for google maps etc.
....but the actual specifications are clear that they have stripped this out of the UK specification.
which is enough for me to cancel my order. If they want the money they have to get EVERYTHING right, otherwise its another flaky Renault in 3 years time.
If they can't be trusted to give us a "best effort", how can they be trusted on things like battery longevity?
BTW, what is the battery warranty, Tesla have an 8 year for comparison and Kia has 7.
