Google Maps Not Loaded Loop !

Hi,

Have had an E-Tech Techno since April with no problems until yesterday when turned it on and google maps wouldn't start which in itself is not the end of the world. However the message telling me it won’t start and I need to uninstall a reinstall is persistently flashing in a loop which means I can’t access anything via the infotainment screen which is a big problem ! Anybody else had this ? Don’t want to be fobbed off by dealer as it’s seriously impacting using the car. I have powered the system on and off by holding the power button with no luck - help ?

Have you tried a uninstall and reinstall?
Maybe a factory reset as a last resort before a trip to the dealer.

I can’t get into the screen menu to uninstall as the message is on a forever loop, it flashes the uninstall icon up for millisecond as a teaser but that’s it. How do I get it to a factory reset ?

Managed to get it uninstalled by manically pressing the screen between ok & uninstall !!!!! Phew all good now re-installed and working fine !

Hi had this issue a couple of weeks ago and found that if you press and hold the power button on the screen to your left for a few seconds it restarts the whole system. What I had was the good map on the main instrument dash with circle spinning and what looked like no internet… possibly the same issue…but did that reset and it’s hasn’t happened since.
